Primary Extension and Challenge

The Primary Extension and Challenge (PEAC) program is an external program designed for high potential Year 5 and 6 students, offering opportunities to extend, challenge, and develop their thinking skills. Through advanced activities and projects, PEAC nurtures intellectual curiosity and fosters a love for learning.

Key Features:

  • Extended Learning: Engages students with advanced content beyond the standard curriculum.

  • Skill Development: Enhances problem-solving, creativity, and independent learning skills.

  • Challenging Opportunities: Includes various competitions and specialized programs to broaden experiences.
     

Assessment and Identification:

​

  • Year 4 Testing: Statewide testing is conducted for Year 4 students to identify those eligible for the PEAC program in Years 5 and 6. The assessment process involves testing, marking, and ranking students' results.​​
